The Chickens (or the girls, as we call em)  were the first critter addition we made to the farm.    Last time I counted there were 76.

This year we started with turkeys.  I LOVE them!

I can't begin to explain how much fun we have had with these beautiful birds.  They were hatched out on Valentines Day 2005.  They are now supplying our family and extended family with lots of wonderful fresh eggs.   I tell ya, I never knew how bland and washed out store-bought eggs were until I started to get them from my girls.

    The highlight of or 2 year old daughters day is when she gets to go feed the chickens They are very entertaining,  I would much rather watch the chickens on the yard than TV any day!
